Short documentary film Wild Aerial follows aerial artist Sasha Galitzki to dramatic ice-bound locations in the Canadian Rockies as she overcomes extreme cold and dizzying heights to perform aerial, connect with nature, and draw attention to the beauty and fragility of rapidly changing mountain landscapes.
After losing her home in the 2024 Jasper wildfire, Sasha is forced to reckon with catastrophic changes to her mountain home. New film project Embers connects Sasha's loss in the wildfire and the glacial recession she has witnessed in her creative work to highlight their common root: climate change.
